Gizil and VaroPreem have signed an extension for an original single-site initiative to a multi-terminal infrastructure intelligence programme across Germany.
The programme will combine Virtual Plant, engineering validation and infrastructure intelligence methodologies to create an intelligent foundation for terminal operations, maintenance and future modernisation initiatives. The methodology is based on a practical digitalisation approach that focuses on understanding and structuring existing infrastructure, rather than implementing complex reconstruction projects.
Gizil’s press release states: ‘The VaroPreem initiative demonstrates how infrastructure intelligence can help terminal operators improve infrastructure understanding, standardise information across multiple sites and prepare existing assets for future operational and energy transition requirements.’
