Well done on the win! How does it feel to receive this award?
I am incredibly grateful, but I also cannot quite believe that this award coincides with my 25th anniversary as a health, safety, environment and community (HSEC) practitioner and leader in the industry. Where did those years go?
Tell us about your role at Aquarius Energy
I work as part of the leadership team in our London, UK, office, overseeing and supporting eight regional assets. An average day might see me start by meeting with our CEO to discuss emerging challenges across the asset portfolio, followed by phone calls to HSEC managers at an asset in Africa, and closing out the day by running an awareness session on concepts such as Operating Discipline or Readiness Reviews.
