On 12 and 13 March, terminal professionals from 72 countries descended on Rotterdam to attend the world-leading tank storage and energy infrastructure event.

International representatives from the likes of Saudi Aramco, Neste, McDermott, Transpetro, Arabian Chemical Terminal, Uniper, Copec, Ageo, Gunvor, Poliport, OCI and many more came together to learn, network and gain new ideas from the show’s exhibitors.

Over 3,500 attendees saw new products and services from leading suppliers including Chart Industries, Emerson, TRAPIL, Kanon, HMT, Belven, GPI Group, Honeywell, Endress+Hauser, Crea Construct, Linde, Bilfinger Tebodin, and Geldof.

‘Seeing professionals from various backgrounds come together in one location to discuss terminal operations, engineering, and safety was really enlightening,’ says Lai Siang Yeong, senior manager assets & operations at Advario Asia-Pacific.

The packed FETSA Tank Storage conference was a huge success. Across the two days, analysts and decision makers shared their insights into the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the tank storage industry.

‘I really enjoyed my time at StocExpo! The show was engaging and informative, and I left feeling inspired,’ adds Erik Van Goethem from Vopak Terminal Linkeroever.

A huge number of new connections were made through the various networking opportunities at the show, including during the Euro Tank Terminal tour. The iTanks Pitchlunch returned for its second year, and the StocExpo Forty Under 40 were celebrated in an official awards ceremony.

‘I was invited to the iTanks Pitchlunch, and my main goal coming here was to see the latest innovations first-hand. I enjoyed engaging in discussions and expanding my network among industry peers here,’ says Roxanne Willemse, energy specialist at Audax Renewables.

The sold-out Global Tank Storage Awards was another highlight, with winners recognised for their excellence in safety, innovation and sustainability. Margaret Dunn, portfolio director at StocExpo, says: ‘What an incredible week we’ve had in Rotterdam! We had so many international terminals visit the show, and the quality of the interactions was incredibly high this year. The energy in the room was amazing, and I can’t wait for next year’s 20th anniversary edition of the show!’

StocExpo will return in 2025.
