Green hydrogen development company, Hydrom has announced the signing of three memorandum of understandings (MoU) concerning the first green hydrogen developments in Oman.
The three signing were:
- The first signing was between Hydrom and OQ Gas Networks (OQGN). The agreement aims to establish collaboration between the parties in the field of green hydrogen pipelines development.
- The second project was signed with Bp Oman. Once the project is expected to generate 150 KTPA of green hydrogen from 3.5 GW of renewable energy.
- The third signing was with the consortium of Green Energy Oman (GEO).
Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, minister of energy and minerals and chairman of the board of directors at Hydrom says: ‘Today marks a significant milestone in our national efforts to enhance the development of green hydrogen in Oman.’
