Advario has acquired the remaining stake in Advario Helios Singapore from Macquarie Helios Holdings, giving the company 100% ownership of Advario Helios Singapore, according to a post on LinkedIn.
The Helios terminal is strategically located on the south end of Jurong Island, Singapore, and plays a key role in Singapore’s bunkering ecosystem. The 503,000 m3 storage facility supplies industrial gases to Jurong Island and handles a range of fuels and industrial gases. With ample waterfront access and room for expansion, the terminal is well-positioned for the storage and logistics of future energy solutions, low carbon ammonia and methanol, biofuels, and eventually hydrogen.
Bas Verkooijen, CEO of Advario says: ‘We’re excited to deepen our investment in Singapore, reaffirming our long-standing position as a key player in Singapore’s energy sector. This acquisition builds on our ongoing commitment to support Singapore’s ambitious energy transition goals and the country’s long-term potential as a global new energy hub. In addition, it aligns with Advario’s strategy to evolve our assets and drive sustainable growth while contributing to a more sustainable future.’
