We’re excited to share a significant update from our ongoing project in the Ostend harbour. Geldof has successfully completed and shipped the first 12 of 28 state-of-the-art storage tanks to LBC Tank Terminals in Antwerp, Belgium. Carefully assembled by the Geldof team, these 30m high tanks were then prepped and secured for their journey to Antwerp by pontoon. After installation, they will boost LBC Antwerp’s storage capacity by approximately 30,000 m³, with another 50,000 m³ still to follow.

In a statement on LinkedIn, the company says: ‘For us at Geldof, there’s nothing quite like the sight of all these finished tanks to make us feel proud and excited for the work yet to come. We’re delighted with the progress so far and deeply grateful for the strong collaboration with LBC Antwerpen, and we can’t wait for part 2 of this project.’
