Ghent Renewables NV has announced on LinkedIn that its board has officially approved the expansion of its pretreatment capacity for waste oils and food waste products like UCO, POME, SBO and acid oils.

As part of the GTS group, the investment will double the company’s annual capacity and upgrade its capabilities to produce feedstock, ideal for HVO, HEFA production, or co-processing.

The enhanced facilities are expected to be operational by the second half of 2025. This expansion marks a key milestone in Ghent Renewables’ journey towards fostering a circular economy and driving a sustainable energy future.
