Stolthaven Terminals has won best-in-class awards at Dow’s logistics service provider awards in Asia and Europe. A long-standing customer of Stolthaven Terminals, Dow established its 4STAR programme to enhance collaboration with its logistics services providers and to recognise strong performance in the four categories it values most: safety, service, sustainability and social responsibility.

Stolthaven Singapore received the Dow 4STAR (South East Asia) Best Terminal award for the fourth year in a row (2020-2023) and, improving on last year’s silver, Stolthaven Moerdijk, Netherlands received a Gold Award for best-in-class storage terminal in Northern Europe, which was accepted on behalf of the team by Commercial Manager, Ed de Vos.

Stolthaven Singapore’s Deputy General Manager, Ong Hwa Ming, and Regional SHEQ Manager, Edmund Hoe, accepted their terminal’s award. They also took part in a panel discussion to share best practices in safety, service, sustainability, social responsibility and customer service and discuss innovations and technologies that could help logistics service providers further enhance their operations.

Hwa Ming comments: ‘We thank the Dow team for their continuous support and guidance and for this special recognition, which demonstrates our commitment to be the most respected global storage provider.’

Robert Wijnen, General Manager of Stolthaven Moerdijk, says: ‘Last year, we proudly accepted the silver award, but this year, our efforts have propelled us to become the only terminal to achieve gold status at this event. This remarkable accomplishment underscores our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of our operations. We thank Dow for this recognition and our incredible team, whose hard work and commitment have made this achievement possible.’
