Exolum and Adif have signed an agreement to explore the creation of a railway logistics network for liquid bulk transport. The companies have joined forces to study the development of a railway logistics network for transporting essential products for decarbonisation, such as captured CO2, e-fuels, and biofuels.
This collaboration will not only leverage existing infrastructures, significantly reducing costs, implementation times, and environmental impacts, but also position Spain as a leader in sustainable and efficient logistics solutions.
Ignacio Casajus, global strategy and growth lead at Exolum says: ‘This agreement will allow us to optimise the logistics of these new products through an efficient and sustainable transport network that meets market needs and enables the reuse of existing infrastructures.’
