The Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO) has invited engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors to apply for pre-qualification for its new tank storage project.
Plans include the construction of eight crude oil storage tanks at the Raz Markaz Oil Storage Terminal, Duqm, Oman. Each tank will have a capacity of 650,000 barrels (bbl), bringing the terminal's storage capacity to a collective 5.2 million bbl.
OTTCO will conduct a prequalification process to identify and shortlist EPC contractors, and interested bidders are encouraged to submit their Confirmation of Participation by 4 August 2026.
According to the company’s press release, the prequalification includes ‘the assessment of contractors’ capability to undertake the engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and start-up of the facilities, as well as their ability to meet the required performance guarantees and contractual obligations associated with the project.’
