Technip Energies announces start-up in Vietnam

Technip Energies have announced that start-up has begun at its Long Son petrochemical complex in Vietnam.

An aerial view of a factory at nightOn its LinkedIn, the company thanked the innovative solutions from the team of specialists that were working on the start-up, the olefins products – ethylene, propylene, and butadiene as they were successfully delivered.

In 2018, Technip Energies were awarded a contract for the petrochemical complex licensing, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, training, interim operation, and maintenance.

This project that uses naphtha and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to produce olefins products is Vietnam’s first Olefins plant.
