Tepsa has been awarded a c.5-hectare concession, with environmental permits secured and front-end engineering design currently in progress, by the Port Authority of Huelva, Spain, to develop its fifth port terminal in the country.
The terminal will be in Spain’s second-largest petrochemical hub, which sits in a region with competitive renewable energy resources. It will support multiple supply chains and logistics flows, and provide storage for chemicals, biofuels and bio-feedstocks across import, hub operations and distribution. Commercial operations are projected to begin in 2029.

For our group, establishing a presence from Rotterdam to Huelva was an important step in supporting the opportunities emerging from the energy transition. The Huelva terminal will provide a platform for future growth in new energy products and molecules.’
