The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has reported that Ukrainian drones have struck the Cherkassy Linear Production-Dispatch Station (LPSD) in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia.
According to the SBU, around eight drones were used, igniting a fire in the reservoir park and at the LSPD’s production facilities. LSPD comprises of 27 tanks with a total capacity of over 385,000m3 and nearly 2 million tons (1.81 million tonnes) of petroleum products are transported through the site annually.
Yevheniy Khmara, Ukraine’s security service general, states: ‘The SBU is operating across the entire territory of Russia, and for the occupier there are no safe regions even in the deep rear. We systematically locate and destroy infrastructure that supplies the enemy’s army with fuel, logistics and resources for war. Each long-range strike forces the invader to pay an ever-higher price for the war against Ukraine.’
