World Fuel Services is to establish new bunkering services in Jamaica. Working with Scott Petroleum, a distributor of petroleum products and services in the Caribbean, World Fuel Services aims to provide services to its customers by combining the companies’ experience, expertise, and resources.

Scott Petroleum will provide bunker service delivery to World Fuel Services’ customers, offering local knowledge as a bonus. World Fuel Services will provide pricing solutions, credit financing and first-class operations support.

Bunkering operations are due to ramp up in Jamaican ports in July.

The main petroleum fuel products available will include high-quality straight-run VLSFO 0.5%, LSMGO 0.1%, and HFO 2%, produced by the Petrojam refinery in Kingston.
