Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET) and Hanseatic Energy Hub have signed a new agreement for DET to complete the superstructure of HEH’s floating LNG terminal in Stade, Germany.
This step gives DET access to the facility, allowing teams to begin inspection, planning, and the remaining construction work.
DET can now mobilise its partners to secure materials and carry out the tasks needed to bring the project to completion. A key focus remains on meeting international safety standards, delivering all required documentation, and ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — essential for securing acceptance in the global gas market.
Based on the current status, commissioning of the terminal is expected no earlier than the second quarter of 2026. A more detailed timeline will follow once inspections are completed. The timely return of the sub-chartered regasification vessel FSRU Energos Force is assured.
