Vopak Adds Rail Loading to Vlaardingen

Vopak has added a second dedicated rail loading and unloading system at the Vopak Terminal Vlaardingen in the Netherlands. The project included the upgrade of the existing rail station with to handle vegetable oils, improving Vopak’s customers’ connectivity to the European vegetable oil market.

‘We’ve already hit the ground running! This week, we successfully discharged the first 23 wagons of sunflower oil,’ said Vopak in a LinkedIn post.
