Radboud Godron, group business development director new energies at LBC Tank Terminals, has been appointed to the Board of the Ammonia Energy Association (AEA). LBC said on LinkedIn: ‘His involvement supports the safe, responsible and scalable adoption of ammonia and reflects LBC’s commitment to collaboration and safety leadership in the energy transition.’
Godron says: ‘As a board member, I support the AEA leadership in defining and implementing the strategic direction that delivers added value to AEA’s member companies. I have also participated in the Safety Task Force, collaborating with seasoned professionals to develop programs and initiatives that promote the safe and responsible adoption of ammonia.’
Looking to the year ahead, Godron sees both responsibility and opportunity: ‘This is not only an opportunity to position ammonia as a credible solution in the energy transition, but also a responsibility to ensure that its deployment is done safely, responsibly, and at scale. By accelerating collaboration the AEA can help shape consistent, widely accepted guidelines that build confidence across the value chain. If we succeed in driving clarity and alignment in this space, it will unlock significant investment, support public acceptance, and strengthen the role of ammonia in a sustainable energy future.’
