Shell Malaysia is expanding its Westport Fuels Terminal, adding three new tanks for gasoline and diesel. Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and will be carried out in phases by local Malaysian-incorporated companies.
‘With this investment, we are strengthening this terminal to do more: to bring in fuels more competitively, to handle larger volumes and to keep supply reliable across the country. Simply put, its better infrastructure, stronger supply, greater resilience,’ explains Shairan Huzani Husain, managing director of Shell Malaysia Trading and Shell Timur.
The expansion is expected to be complete by 2028.
