Adriatic LNG has become the world’s first offshore LNG regassification terminal to use Technip Energies’ Loading Systems loading arm, equipped with the Targeting System, designed to maximise the availability of the loading arms regardless of the meteocean conditions.

Starting operations in 2009, Adriatic LNG safely received its 1000th LNG carrier in March 2023, with the help of Technip Energies’ robustoffshore loading arms. Adriatic LNG launched an overhaul program of the LNG loading arms in 2019. Technip Energies Loading Systems proposed a plug and play solution, while sequencing the refurbishment of the loading arms, to drastically minimise the downtime of the LNG terminal. The contract for the overhaul of the last two offshore LNG loading arms has just been awarded to Technip Energies Loading Systems.
