Singaporean systems integration company Marshal Systems has launched a new product – the Temperature Screening Access control system – to facilitate safer workplaces in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Temperature screening prior to entry has become an important part of the COVD-safe workplace. Marshal Systems new product has temperature recording, facial recognition and access card features. The system administrator can set and adjust specific parameters, such as door entry.

The device can measure temperature at a distance of 0.5–1.5 m in the range 30–45˚C. It takes less than 0.2 seconds for facial recognition and is 99% accurate.

It can be standalone or a cluster of devices and has been developed with a cloud-base server to manage the data, avoiding the need for a local server. The device can also generate an automated report with a timestamp in Excel format for monitoring and reporting.
