Shell Aviation and i6 Group have successfully completed the global deployment of its cloud-based fuel management technology across Shell Aviation’s global network. The rollout brings real-time data, improved safety and smarter fueling operations to Shell’s locations in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

The project’s final phase included deployment across Shell Aviation’s full Canadian network, completing a multi-year modernisation effort across Shell Aviation sites worldwide – reinforcing Shell’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Alex Mattos, CEO and managing director of i6 Group, says: ‘This milestone is the result of close collaboration and relentless focus from the i6 team to digitise Shell Aviation’s fueling network globally. Together, we’ve built a smarter, more resilient fueling ecosystem that sets a new standard for operational excellence.’

‍The i6 platform now enables Shell Aviation to benefit from real-time operational visibility and automated data sharing across its global network. i6’s platform further allows Shell Aviation and its partners to optimize refueling operations, reduce manual processes and improve communication between ground teams and airline customers.

Raman Ojha, president of Shell Aviation, adds: ‘The aviation sector has experienced an uptick in global air travel, which requires more efficient fuel management. i6 digital platform can help how we serve customers; improving communication, efficiency and reliability across our operations.’
