Dutch Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) specialist TWTG and process instrumentation company Badotherm are jointly developing a wireless IoT pressure sensor.

The collaboration brings together Badotherm’s traditional, proven pressure gauge technology with TWTG’s IIoT expertise. The NEON pressure sensor will form part of TWTG’s NEON range, which also includes valve, temperature, and vibration sensors and a near-field communication (NFC) tag. The range communicates via LoRaWAN and is compliant with IECEx certifications.

The companies expect to begin site tests of the new NEON pressure sensor with selected customers by the end of 2021.
