Chane Terminal Geulhaven has opened a new expansion, adding 75,000 m³ of storage capacity. The terminal, located in the Port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, now boasts a total capacity of 150,000 m³ and was completed in just nine months. This phase has focused mainly on feedstocks for biofuels.

By focusing on the storage of biofuels, this new terminal expansion gives Chane the opportunity to help customers take a step forward in the energy transition.

Wouter Verbeek, business unit director at Chane says: ‘Safety is our highest priority, so we’re proud of the safety performance we’ve achieved at this terminal. The construction and commissioning phases for this project have been completed without any major incidents.’
