Firefighters helped put out a fire at an oil storage tank near the corner of Eagle Rd in the Double Bayou community south of Anahuac, Chambers County, Texas. The tank, containing crude oil, was reportedly struck by lightning, and took several volunteer groups to put out.

Prior the incident, there had been reports of a thunderstorm, and lighting in the area.

The fire is now safely out and there have been no reports of injuries. An investigation is underway to confirm the cause.
