Gasunie has announce that, with effect from 15 January 2026, Katie Slipper will take on the role of chief financial officer (CFO) and join the Gasunie Executive Board. She is succeeding Jan Boekelman, who has served as interim CFO since 11 February 2025.

CEO Willemien Terpstra says: ‘I am very keen to start working with Katie. She combines financial expertise with strategic insight and a people-oriented approach, making her a valuable addition to our Executive Board. I would also like to thank Jan Boekelman, who made a substantial contribution to Gasunie as interim CFO.’

Katie Slipper is an experienced financial executive with an international career at both listed companies and state-owned enterprises. She comes to Gasunie from Royal Schiphol Group, where she has been Director Finance since 2022. Previously, she held various senior management positions at Royal Vopak and TNT Post Group.

According to Diederik Samsom, Chair of the Gasunie Supervisory Board, Katie Slipper’s profile aligns perfectly with the company’s strategy. ‘Katie has an impressive track record in financial leadership in complex, international environments. This experience is invaluable when it comes to keeping Gasunie agile and future-proof in the dynamic setting of the energy transition.’
