Avenir Marine Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Avenir LNG, has signed a framework fuel supply agreement with the shipping company A.P. Moller – Maersk. Under the Agreement, signed already in H2 2025, Maersk and Avenir will start the supply of bio-LNG with lower GHG emissions in 2027. The first deliveries will be in alignment with the delivery of the first dual-fuel liquefied gas vessels entering Maersk’s time-chartered fleet. As a leading owner and operator of a fleet of 5 LNG transport and bunker vessels and with two new buildings on order, Avenir is supporting the shipping industry in its activities to reduce emissions and make low-emission alternative fuels available in ports world-wide.
