Power2X have announced that the company has completed a trial digging at its project site in the Port of Rotterdam, kicking off actual field work for Power2X eFuels Rotterdam.

Although this isn’t the start of construction yet, these excavations are important to verify available space in the pipeline corridor ensuring direct supply of synthetic Sustainable Aviation Fuel (e-SAF) to the CEPS pipeline. This pipeline safely and efficiently transports jet fuel from Rotterdam to all major airport in NW Europe and is strategic infrastructure backbone in Northwest Europe.

Being situated right next to the CEPS pipeline isn’t just a logistical advantage; it’s a cornerstone of the project’s commercial viability, enabling efficient, large-scale transport of clean fuels at the heart of the European market.
