Stolthaven Terminals has received the EcoVadis gold rating for sustainability performance, recognising its environmental, safety, social, ethical, and governance practices in 2024.

The EcoVadis certification assesses a company’s adherence to corporate social responsibility principles and the effectiveness of the company’s sustainability management system. The gold rating includes all wholly owned terminals globally and demonstrates a 10-point improvement on Stolthaven Terminals’ silver status in 2023.

Piran Patel, global programme manager of sustainability at Stolthaven says: ‘This gold certification is a milestone that highlights our commitment and progress towards our sustainability ambitions and reflects our continuous improvements in key areas.’

Guy Bessant, President of Stolthaven Terminals, adds: ‘This achievement is thanks to everyone across Stolthaven Terminals engaging in efforts to reduce our environmental footprint across all our operations and working towards our ambition to make our primary activities carbon neutral by 2040.’
