Technip Energies has been awarded a FEED contract by Vestforbrænding for a carbon capture project connected to the latter’s waste-to-energy facility in Glostrup, Denmark.

The project will integrate the Cansolv carbon capture system into an optimised plant design to ensure maximum energy efficiency and performance. The plant will capture at least 450,000 tons (457,000 tonnes) of carbon per year that will then be permanently sequestrated.
