Varo Energy has opened its new Rotterdam Energy Hub, located at the iconic World Port Centre in the Netherlands, overlooking one of the world’s oldest harbours.

The new office reflects Varo’s desire to create an environment that inspires its team. The building reflects Varo’s ESG commitments by prioritising sustainability, modern working and collaboration.

Attendees of the opening day included the supervisory board chairman, Marcel Van Poecke and vice-chairman, Russell Hardy, along with its supervisory board, to celebrate the milestone together with customers, partners, officials and Varo’s team. Guests were able to tour offices, enjoy the natural light, visit modern meeting rooms as well as admire the stunning view of the harbour on a sunny day.

‘I spoke of Rotterdam as our home as we are a company with a deep trading history, much like Rotterdam. And like Rotterdam, which has been the Trading Gateway to Europe, their role, and ours, has evolved with both conventional energies and sustainable energies now being part of our portfolio,’ says Dev Sanyal, CEO of Varo Energy Group.
