Vopak Los Angeles receives first delivery of renewable diesel

Ship on blue skiesVopak has announced that its Los Angeles, USA terminal has received its first vessel of renewable diesel.

This comes from Vopaks’ previous announcement of the repurposing of the 22 oil storage tanks in Los Angeles, to sustainable aviation fuel ( SAF) and renewable diesel.

In total 148,000 m3 is being repurposed.

Half of Vopaks’ growth investments towards 2030 are aimed for infrastructure accelerating the energy transition and decarbonisation of the industry.
