Vopak is collaborating with WinGD to evaluate ammonia as a clean fuel, the company announced on LinkedIn.

Vopak says: ‘We’re thrilled to announce a new collaboration between Vopak in Singapore and WinGD to power the future of sustainable energy. We will work together to evaluate ammonia as a clean fuel for power generation, leveraging the expertise of both partners, Vopak’s robust ammonia storage and handling infrastructure and over 20 years of ammonia expertise and WinGD Ltd.’s power solution design and integration experience, harnessing its new X-DF-A ammonia-fuelled genset.’

Ammonia has the potential to revolutionise the energy landscape, providing a cleaner alternative that can be stored, transported, and used at scale.
