VTTI, alongside partners, took centre stage at the World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition in Rotterdam to formally present the joint Manifesto on Hydrogen Import Strategy to Sophie Hermans, Minister of Climate and Green Growth – a clear call to accelerate the Netherlands’ commitment to a secure, global hydrogen supply.

‘Handing over the manifesto to Minister Hermans, together with our partners, marks an important moment and a call to action to realize the full potential of hydrogen import, which is essential for a successful energy transition. The ministry is asked to shape policy instruments including financial support on hydrogen carriers to realize large-scale ammonia storage and cracking infrastructure. At VTTI, we are proud to contribute our expertise and assets to accelerate this journey, in close collaboration with public and private stakeholders,’ says Guy Moeyens, CEO of VTTI.
