THE LESSONS Learned Bulletin on Chemical Accident Prevention and Preparedness (CAPP) is a publication of the Major Accident Hazards Bureau (MAHB) of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC). The MAHB is the EU’s centre of reference for study and exchange of information on chemical accident analysis and risk management. It fulfils obligations imposed by the Seveso Directive (2012/18/EU) to collect information on major chemical accidents occurring in the EU Member States and disseminating their lessons learned.
