Aster has launched its new storage and logistics business, Aster Port & Terminals (APT), bringing together an integrated storage and marine infrastructure platform in Singapore.
APT will comprise of 13 marine wharves across Pulau Bukom and Pulau Ular, up to 4.3 million m3 of tank storage capacity and a single buoy mooring that can receive very large crude carriers carrying up to two million barrels of oil. At Pulau Bukom, APT has awarded contracts to Overseas Technical Engineering and Construction Pte (a subsidiary of DIALOG Group Berhad and PEC Pte Ltd) to refurbish available crude oil storage tanks and increase their capacity by more than 1.3 million barrels.
