CIMIC Group’s company UGL has continued its long-term partnership with Australian Terminal Operations Management (ATOM), a joint venture between bp Australia and UGL, for the maintenance and management of bp’s 18 terminals across Australia.
UGL and ATOM have worked together since 2015 to support the operation of critical infrastructure, providing project, engineering and asset management and maintenance; project delivery; and tank turnaround services.
Jason Spears, CIMIC Group CEO, says: ‘ATOM is a valued long-term partner, and this extension reflects UGL’s proven capability in supporting critical fuel infrastructure across Australia. By combining our engineering expertise, asset management capability and on-the-ground delivery, UGL will continue to help ensure this critical energy infrastructure operates safely, reliably and efficiently for communities and industry across Australia.’
Sam Goldsmith, UGL managing director, comments: ‘This extension is a testament to the dedication of our team and the collaborative partnership we have built with ATOM over the past decade. UGL is recognised as a leader in terminal and fuel infrastructure services, and we look forward to continuing to deliver innovative solutions that support our client’s operational objectives.’
