Oryx Energies sells downstream business to NDC

Oryx Energies has agreed to sell its downstream businesses in Mali, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo to Niangadou Distribution Compagnie SAU (NDC). The move comes as Oryx reviews its African downstream portfolio and aligns its long-term priorities.

NDC has experience in the importation, distribution and logistics of petroleum products in West Africa, and will use this experience and regional presence to build on Oryx’s operations in the three countries. Currently, Oryx has a total LPG storage capacity of 27,000m3 across its African markets.

According to Oryx’s press release, ‘The transaction remains subject to the necessary regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. Until completion, Oryx Energies’ operations in Mali, Côte d’Ivoire and Togo will continue as usual, with an ongoing commitment to customers, partners, and the safe and reliable delivery of its services.’
