The Tank Storage Association's Peter Davidson shares his insights into the UK's bulk storage sector

Tank storage infrastructure is an integral part of a complex web of global activities and supply chains including the extraction of raw materials and the production, refining, trade, investment and consumption of a diverse range of essential products for the energy, manufacturing, food, agriculture, and transport sectors.

Storage capacity also includes strategic reserves held for emergencies and supply disruptions.
