Adani Ports extends binding offer for Evos

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone has extended a binding offer to Evos for around €3 billion, submitted in a sale run by Morgan Stanley for Evos’ owner, Igneo Infrastructure Partners.

Evos currently operates eight tank terminals around Europe, with a combined storage capacity of around 6.4 million m3 across seven ports in five countries. The terminals store gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, sustainable aviation fuel, bioethanol and e-methanol. Adani Ports operates 15 ports in India and a further four in Israel, Tanzania, Sri Lanka and Australia. The company is reportedly looking for more overseas assets to compensate for operational difficulties caused by nearby political conflict.

Neither Adani Ports or Evos have commented, however the purported sale bid has drawn interest from investors including KKR & Co, EQT AB and Macquarie Group.
