JSW Infrastructure has commissioned eight tanks for its liquid bulk terminal at Fujairah, UAE, with plans to begin operation the first week of November 2026. However, the company has said that demand for stored products until the end of 2026 will determine tank utilisation, rather than confirmed customer demand.
At the Fujairah terminal, JSW currently has six fixed-roof tanks and nine floating-roof tanks, with a combined capacity of 465,000m3. It focuses on Class I to III products including fuel oil, gas oil, diesel and naphtha.
The UAE has become a strategic location for liquid bulk operations as it sits outside of the Strait of Hormuz, avoiding disruption due to ongoing conflict. JSW Infrastructure has also said it is orienting future port bids towards containers and liquids, specifically in major South Indian ports.
