Energy Estate and Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on opportunities for around-the-clock delivery of green hydrogen, e-fuels and e-chemicals across Energy Estates’ portfolio of decarbonisation projects. The companies will come together on the production and storage of hydrogen to accelerate the energy transition in Australia.

The aim is to integrate green hydrogen production and storage to help balance intermittent renewable energy supplies and enable the delivery of ammonia, e-fuel and other hydrogen derivative products on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Both companies will work together to encourage new investment into the sector throughout Australia.

The project will start by advancing the Hunter Hydrogen Network developed by Energy Estate and its partner Eurus Energy.
