Gerotto announces the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement for Italy with DERC Salotech, a Dutch company internationally recognised for its water jetting technologies and magnetic robots dedicated to industrial cleaning.

This partnership allows Gerotto to further expand its offering in the field of robotic solutions for operating in confined spaces and areas at risk of explosion, integrating specific systems for cleaning the vertical walls of tanks, ships, and steel structures.

Presented in Italy during ECOMONDO 2025, MagTrack is a modular system built around a universal carrier. The magnetic tracks allow secure adhesion to flat or slightly curved steel surfaces, while the modular structure allows the installation of a wide range of water jetting tools up to 3000 bar.

Arco den Hollander, sales manager at DERC Salotech, says: ‘Italy is a very interesting market for industrial cleaning because it boasts numerous industrial assets in different sectors. Gerotto is a company with which we share an approach to innovation and is the ideal partner to bring a new approach to cleaning operations.’

Alessandro Gerotto, CEO of Gerotto, adds: ‘DERC Salotech is a European leader that has built a reputation for excellence in industrial cleaning over time. We are proud of this partnership, which is based on mutual respect and a vision focused on robotics and innovation.’

Daniel Devò, sales manager of the Gerotto Robotics Business Unit, comments: ‘Becoming the Italian distributors of DERC Salotech was a natural step to complete the range of robotic solutions we already offer: like Gerotto, we specialise in no-man entry robots that vacuum material from the bottom of tanks. With DERC’s magnetic robots, we are able to meet the needs of customers who also require state-of-the-art machinery to work in complete safety on vertical surfaces.’
