Environmental technology firm Tecam has been awarded a contract for an emissions treatment project in New Zealand.

Tecan will provide engineering, procurement, installation and maintenance service of a Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) system for the elimination of polluting emissions generated during production processes to a New Zealand steel production company. The turnkey project, with its environmentally friendly exhaust gas cleaning system, will allow the stell company to eliminate 99.9% of its pollutant emissions. For this particular project, Tecam has designed a custom RTO which takes into account the nature, characteristics and airflow of the vapours to be treated.

The contract is Tecam’s first in Oceania, marking the next step in its expansion plans. The company already has treatment projects in Europe, America and Asia

‘We are very glad to reach another continent with our environmental projects for emissions abatement,’ says Bernat Sala, CEO of Tecam. ‘It is a pleasure to offer effective and efficient environmental solutions to our customers worldwide.’
