The world’s largest oil and gas digitalisation event is returning to Houston.

The Energy Conference Network will host the IoT in Oil and Gas conference for the eighth consecutive year. The two-day event will bring together some of the most influential thought leaders in the energy industry to discuss how digitalisation will shape the future of the gas and oil sector.

‘We’re so excited and honoured to bring the IoT in Oil and Gas conference back to Houston’ says Energy Conference Network CEO, Symon Rubens. ‘The ideas and partnerships that will come from this conference will play such an important role in shaping the future of energy across the world.’

The event will witness more than 500 operators, service companies, EPCs, drilling companies, and technology solution providers across the 12th and 13th of September, to debate and explore the most pressing challenges in transforming the oil and gas sector into the digital age. The event will feature organisations such as BP and Exxon Mobil.

The event this year will include presentations and contributions from major industry names and individuals.

In addition to keynote speakers, the conference will include discussion panels, case studies, and plan networking opportunities at least five times daily. The event will also provide a one-to-one meeting area where valuable interactions between attendees and solution providers can take place.

During the two-day event, such pressing industry topics will be covered. These include:

  • IoT Technology trends on opportunities
  • Leveraging technology to drive asset connectivity
  • Carbon reduction in sustainability
  • IoT technology investment: Edge, Digital Twins, and more
  • Leadership, training, and development
  • Regulatory updates
