ADNOC has joined the Coalition for LNG Emission Abatement toward Net Zero (CLEAN Initiative), the company announced on LinkedIn. This collaborative effort is led by the Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC), to reduce methane emissions in the LNG sector. ADNOC says: ‘This collaboration strengthens the UAE-Japan energy partnership – together, we are advancing a net zero future.’

ADNOC is committed to making today’s energy cleaner, while building the clean energy systems of tomorrow. In 2023, ADNOC achieved a 20% reduction in methane emissions, and in 2024, we proudly attained OGMP 2.0 Gold Standard Reporting Status.
