StocExpo opens its doors on 14 March at 13:00 at the Ahoy, Rotterdam. The exhibition brings together top terminal professionals and exhibitors with key products to showcase. Plus, for the first time ever, StocExpo is offering two conference tracks: the FETSA Tank Storage Conference and the Terminal Operations & Safety Conference.

The FETSA stream will be Europe’s largest tank storage and future fuels focused conference. It’s the perfect place for terminal operators, ports, traders, policymakers, and future fuels, chemical, and oil and gas producers from around the globe to learn about the latest trends in the industry.

The Terminal Operations & Safety Conference is in its first ever edition and free to all visitors who pre-register for StocExpo 2023. Covering topics such as safety, digitalisation, fluorine-free foams and more, this conference stream is ideal for engineers, maintenance professionals, procurement and project managers who want to get ahead.

Ghislaine Burink from CR8 Safety kicks off the Terminal Operations & Safety Conference with a session on changing safety mindsets at the terminal at 13:30. Following this, Nils Bosma at Shell and Peter Savage from Aquarius Energy will run sessions on the themes of lessons learned (and forgotten) from previous incidents.

At 15:00, Nico de Meester at Porthos will take the FETSA stage to discuss the project to capture and store carbon in the North Sea. As terminals look to cut their carbon footprint, the safe storage of carbon looks to be a key move to help lock CO2 out of the atmosphere.

And don’t miss the final FETSA session at 17:30 today – the Women in Tanks panel. Hosted by Tank Storage Magazine’s editor, Anamika Talwaria, the panel session will look at opportunities to encourage diversity and gender equality in the tank storage industry. Featuring Karine Huysmans, LBC Tank Terminals, Kathryn Clay at ILTA, Sandra de Bont, VOTOB Academy, Sandra De Mey from North Sea Port, Suzan de Haan at HES International and Women in Tech’s Marjolein Pordon, this panel isn’t one to miss.

Register now for your conference pass.
