Gasunie builds natural gas pipeline

Gasunie has completed the construction of a new natural gas pipeline in the Amsterdamse Bos, Netherlands.

At the moment, natural gas from the Groningen field is still used in industry. Due to the phasing out of production in Groningen, large companies such as power plants are switching to high-calorific natural gas.

Two 800 m sections of the pipeline are already complete. The total length of the bore is 1,600 m.

The new pipeline will aid the progression of natural gas production in the Netherlands.
