Langsat Terminal, Vopak, Petronas, DoveChem, Oiltanking, MMC Oil and Gas, MISC, LBC, SK Energy, Jurong Port, ConocoPhillips, Thai Oil, Dialog, Sime Derby – just some of the names registered for next week’s Tank Storage Asia expo & conference, on 10-11 November at the Hotel Maya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The two day conference and exhibition, organised by market leading publication Tank Storage magazine, brings together terminal operators, oil companies, traders, ports, associations, regulators, technical experts, biofuels producers and equipment suppliers to discuss the future potential for the bulk liquid storage market in Malaysia and across Asia.

Speakers include Mabanaft, Independent Oil Terminal, BMT Asia, Synergy Downstream and many more.

Conference topics will cover Malaysia as an emerging storage hub, considerations when planning, designing, building or expanding a marine liquid terminal, the legal aspects of mergers and acquisitions and project financing, drivers of revenues in the petroleum storage sector, storage opportunities, business case challenges and regulatory hurdles in Indonesia and many more.

Looking at Malaysia, demand for storage has also outstripped supply so this year’s conference is in the ideal location.

Plans are underway to build a new oil storage hub in Johor, at the centre of the east Asia-Mideast shipping route. The initiative would see oil storage terminals being built along the Pengerang coastline in south-eastern Johor to Tanjung Langsat, and extending to Tanjung Pelepas and Tanjung Bin in the southwest of the state.

The target is to supply and store 10 million m3 of oil for the region by 2020.

As an added bonus this event will be co-hosted with Biofuels International Asia expo & conference – www.biofuelsinternationalexpo.com/asia, a two day event looking at the challenges of producing, blending, storing and distributing renewable fuels, providing delegates, visitors and exhibitors even more reason to get involved.

THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER.

The conference delegate fee is only RM2,900 or RM1,500 for one day. There is also a 10% discount for the second delegate from the same company registered and 25% for each subsequent registration
