JOGMEC and ADNOC expand cooperation

Japan Organisation for Metals and Energy security (JOGMEC) has expanded its cooperation with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

White and black ship on sea under smoke.The expanded agreement was announced during the JAPAN-UAE Business Forum held in Abu Dhabi and adds the evaluation and application of technologies relating to carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) and methane management to existing areas of cooperation.

This agreement now expands to include CCUS, methane management and other low-carbon technologies. It is expected that the expansion of the cooperation will strengthen the relationships between ADNOC and Japanese companies including JOGMEC.
