LBC Houston highlights the progress made in its Pit 5 expansion project in a new video.
LBC's project significantly expands its storage capacity and marine access at the Houston, Texas, US site. Phase 1 includes nine new 100,000bbl carbon steel internal floating roof tanks and two barge docks, increasing operational flexibility in vessel, barge, truck, rail and tank-to-tank transfers. Each tank is equipped with dedicated lines for direct marine access, with multiple crossover lines to enhance operational efficiency.
The project remains on track for Q2 2026 completion.
